Covaset 500

Covaset 500 Injection contains Hydroxyprogesterone (500mg), a synthetic form of the naturally occurring hormone progesterone. Hydroxyprogesterone is commonly used in pregnancy to support the luteal phase, prevent preterm labor, and manage progesterone deficiency. It plays a crucial role in maintaining pregnancy by preventing uterine contractions and modulating the immune system to prevent rejection of the fetus.

This injection is primarily used for women with a history of recurrent preterm births or those at risk for premature labor. Hydroxyprogesterone works by reducing the frequency of uterine contractions and helping maintain a healthy pregnancy.
